Agnus Dei
Agnus Dei or Lamb of God is a title
given to Jesus representing His role as the sacrificial lamb atoning for
our sins. The bible has several references to Jesus as the Lamb of
God most notably when John the Baptist says "Behold, the Lamb of God,
who takes away the sin of the world." John 1:29
