We
would like to express our appreciation to all those who traveled to
Washington DC to participate in the March for Life and to those who
offered their prayers on the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Roe vs.
Wade decision.
St
Agnes had 47 people on our bus and we joined over 100,000 marchers in
Washington. Prior to departure, at a special 5:30 am Mass, Father Bob
blessed the participants and in his homily he spoke of how each person,
at conception, carries the light of life and this light could lead us
all closer to the Kingdom of God. Those who participate through marching
or through prayer are following that light and giving witness to life as
Joseph and the Magi did in their protection of the Christ Child. We pray
that our message was heard.
