Philip F. Malloy, Jr. lives with his wife, Paula and 2 daughters in Franklin Square and have been life long  parishioners of St. Catherine of Sienna Parish. Phil is a retired New York City Police Officer and a member of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Departments where he held the ranks of Chief of Department and is currently Commissioner of the District. Phil is also a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary’s Council. 

Phil is a graduate of the Diocese of Rockville Centre Pastoral Formation Institute.  He has coached girls softball for both Little League and at H. Frank Carey High School in Franklin Square.  Phil is also Youth Minister at St. Joseph's in Garden City.
