Born Feb. 19, 1930, in Fallon, Colombia, Father Villabon was ordained Dec. 18, 1954. He received a master’s degree in philosophy from the Central University of Madrid, and a doctorate in psychology from Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia.

From November of 1983 until June of 1984, he was associate pastor at St. Patrick’s Church, Glen Cove. Since June of 1984, he has served at St. Agnes. Father Villabon is also known for his ministry to Spanish-speaking Catholics.
