The First Saturday
Devotion is held on the first Saturday of each month at 8:15 a.m. in the
Quealy Room located directly below the Sacristy.
All
are invited to this special devotion to Our Lady - adults, children and their
family and friends.
This
devotion is centered on the Rosary and a book of prayers has been created with
instructions on how to say the Rosary. These prayers are from the Blue
Army and include Prayers from Our Lady of Fatima. Individuals attending
this devotion may lead the group in each decade of the Rosary.
Juice
and breakfast items are provided to all those who attend. In addition
extra Rosary Beads are available if you forgot yours or are in need of a
set. Books for children on the Rosary are available to be borrowed.
Attendees are encouraged to attend Mass in the Cathedral following the
recitation of the Rosary.
The
statue of the Blessed Mother of the Rosary is available to visit with a family
until the next month if they would like to have her grace in their home.
We
encourage families to come because many do not know how to pray the Rosary and
we want them and their children to learn in a warm and relaxed environment.
For
more information please contact Blanche Joesten through the Rectory.
