Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation is a not-for-profit, charitable
organization whose goal is to use modern media in its many forms as a
tool to connect Catholics to their faith. Our first initiative was to
establish a new digital television channel, Canada’s first national
Catholic television Network, Salt + Light Television in July 2003.
Telecare
Telecare, the television station of the Diocese of Rockville
Centre, operates with the mission of spreading God's word through its
religious and educational programming to the Catholic schools and
parishes within the Diocese of Rockville Centre and to people of faith
wherever they may be. The purpose of Telecare's mission is to
bring people of the Catholic faith, indeed all people, closer to God,
through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

ministry dedicated to bringing God's Word to all. We strive to reach a
common ground with people of all faiths while reflecting Christ's
commitment to the poor. The ministry, a non-profit corporation, was
founded by Father Michael Manning in 1978. He is a member of the Society
of the Divine Word, an international missionary community with 6,000
members serving in 55 countries. The community is dedicated to preaching
