Hispanic Community

St Agnes reaches out to the vibrant and ever-growing Spanish-speaking community within the parish by offering spiritual, educational, charitable and social opportunities.

Spanish Language Mass is celebrated each Saturday evening in the Cathedral at 7:30 pm. This provides an occasion for Spanish speakers to participate more fully in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in their native tongue.

Religious Education provides an opportunity for children to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith and prepare for First Penance, First Communion, and Confirmation. Classes take place on Sunday morning at 10:00 am in St. Agnes Cathedral School.

Two Youth Groups offer young people both a social outlet and a way to grow their faith.  Younger Youth Group meets Sunday at 10:00 am in St. Agnes Cathedral School.   The older Youth Group members serve as Lectors and Ushers for the 7:30 pm Mass in the Cathedral on the last Saturday of every month.

Adult Education provides an opportunity for expanding knowledge about our Faith. Adult education takes place every Saturday after the 7:30 pm Mass in the Quealy Room.

Cursillo Movement - The Cursillistas are a group that have received theological formation and work to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  The Cursillistas gather for an Ultreya meeting on Saturday evening after the 7:30 pm Mass in the Quealy Room.

Charismatic Prayer Group - This prayer group meets every Wednesday at 8:00 pm in the Lower Hall to praise God and listen to His Word. Praise is expressed in a variety of ways including song and prayer.

Outreach Activities - Parish staff and volunteers are available to visit the sick and provide services for people in need.

Eucharistic Adoration - Exposition of the Sacred Host takes place in the Cathedral on the First Saturday of each month after the 7:30 pm Mass.
