Fr. Seth N. Arwo-Doqu was born and raised in Ghana. His first name was given before his birth, even before the age of sonograms. He wanted to be a priest at age 12; he attended high school and college seminaries prior to his theological formation, and he was ordained on July 21, 1990. Fr. Seth holds degrees from universities in Ghana, Rome and the USA.  After ordination, he served the Archdiocese of Accra as Associate Priest, Diocesan Master of Ceremonies, Director of Liturgy and Pastor, among other duties. Fr. Seth has served at St. Joseph parish in Babylon since 2002. He loves to sing, especially liturgical chant, which he uses every day at Mass. He also loves to visit and console the sick and dying.
